Lina Sanchez

Lina is an experienced Producer, Post Producer, and filmmaker who specializes in guiding projects from development through exhibition. Her visionary perspective and ability to work across languages, cultures, and countries have allowed her to collaborate on prominent global projects across a variety of formats with studios including Netflix, Disney, and Fox Entertainment. Her passion for storytelling began early, sparked by childhood trips to the theater with her mother to watch Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. A scene in which Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon dive deep underwater without coming up for air left her wondering how something could look so real and who made it possible… Igniting a lifelong curiosity and passion about filmmaking.

Growing up as an only child in a home shaped by complex emotional dynamics, films became more than entertainment for Lina; they became companions that helped her connect with other lives, process her emotions, and imagine new possibilities. Today she channels that early curiosity and emotional connection into her work, approaching each project with a commitment to craft, collaboration, and meaningful storytelling. Lina currently works as a Marketing Post Producer for Fox Entertainment and serves as a Governor for the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). She has also been deeply involved with the Hollywood Professional Association’s Young Entertainment Professionals (YEP) and Networking, Education, and Technology (NET) initiatives, and created a podcast dedicated to honest conversations about navigating the film industry and building a sustainable creative career. At 35, Lina sees filmmaking not simply as a career, but as a calling that continues to inspire connection, growth, and purpose through storytelling.
