Lina Sánchez

Lina is a producer, post-producer, and filmmaker who specializes in guiding projects from development through exhibition. Her visionary perspective and ability to work across languages, cultures, and countries have allowed her to collaborate on prominent global projects across a variety of formats with studios including Netflix, Disney, and Fox Entertainment. Her passion for storytelling began early, sparked by repeated childhood trips to the theater with her mother to see Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Seeing Star Wars 10 times in a row left her wondering how something could look so real, and who made it possible… Igniting a lifelong curiosity and passion for filmmaking.

Growing up as an only child, films became more than entertainment for Lina; they became companions that helped her connect with other people's lives, process her emotions, and imagine new possibilities. Today she channels that early curiosity and emotional connection into her work, approaching each project with a commitment to craft, collaboration, and meaningful storytelling. Lina currently works as a Marketing Post Producer for Fox Entertainment and serves as a Governor for the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). She has also been involved with the Hollywood Professional Association, co-chairing two of their programs: The Networking, Education, and Technology Program (NET) and the Young Entertainment Professionals Program (YEP). Lina’s biggest purposes in her career are to advocate for emerging talents, to keep inspiring people to go to the movies and to provide spaces for mentorship to teach the ins and outs of the entertainment business.
